Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for erasure or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once those grounds no longer apply.
General information on the legal bases for data processing on this website
If you have consented to the data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, where special categories of data under Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing also takes place on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We further process your data where this is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data processing may also take place on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legal bases applicable in each individual case are set out in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities we work with various external parties. This sometimes also requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass personal data on to external parties where this is necessary in the context of performing a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing data to tax authorities), where we have a legitimate interest in the transfer under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or where another legal basis permits the transfer. When using processors, we only pass on our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint controllership agreement is concluded.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21(1) GDPR). IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS CONNECTED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, rectification and erasure
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time regarding this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases: If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure. If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure. If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. For as long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line. If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
4 · Data collection on this website – Cookies
Our websites use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small data packets and do no harm to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser. Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services). Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes. Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. Where further cookies and services are used on this website, you can find details in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – to this end, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where this has been requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time. The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your inquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Inquiry by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. The data you send us via contact inquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Listing and valuation requests
We process the details you submit via the contact form, listing request or valuation request (e.g. name, email, phone, property data) to handle your inquiry and to prepare a brokerage agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. A draft of the valuation form is stored only locally in your browser until you submit or discard it.
Email delivery via Resend
Form submissions are delivered to us by email via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), acting as our processor. Data may be transferred to the USA; this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
5 · Analytics tools and advertising – Matomo
This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. With the help of Matomo we are able to collect and analyse data about the use of our website by website visitors. Among other things, this allows us to find out when which page views were made and which region they come from. We also record various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors carry out certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases and similar). This analytics tool is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its web offering and its advertising. Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. IP anonymisation: when analysing with Matomo we use IP anonymisation. Your IP address is truncated before the analysis so that it can no longer be clearly attributed to you. Cookies: Matomo stores cookies in your browser in order to recognise returning visits and related page views. These cookies are only set after you have consented to the statistics category; if you withdraw that consent, they are deleted and tracking stops. Hosting: we host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, so that all analytics data remains with us and is not passed on.
Cookie consent via Cookiebot
We use Cookiebot by Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark, to obtain, manage and document your consent (Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR). Cookiebot stores your choice and a truncated IP address. You can change your choice at any time with future effect via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Google Tag Manager
Only if you have consented to the statistics or marketing category do we load Google Tag Manager by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager controls the integration of further services and transmits your IP address to Google; a transfer to the USA is possible. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Google Consent Mode passes your choice on to the integrated services.
6 · Newsletter – Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. We use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. As part of newsletter campaigns we may analyse various data (e.g. time of opening, IP address, device information, links clicked and any subsequent actions). The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw the consent given to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal. The data you deposit with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored by us or by the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and is deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected. After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
Newsletter delivery via Brevo
For our market letter we use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). After entering your email address you receive a confirmation email; you are only subscribed once you click the link (double opt-in). Sign-up and confirmation are logged with a timestamp. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue. Brevo records whether newsletters are opened and links are clicked. A data processing agreement is in place with Brevo.
7 · Plugins and tools – Map image based on OpenStreetMap data
The map on the contact page and the about page is a static image that we serve from our own server. No third-party map is embedded: loading the page establishes no connection to servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, no IP address is transmitted to them, and neither cookies nor comparable recognition technologies are used for it. Displaying the map therefore does not require your consent. The map image is based on OpenStreetMap data; the attribution of contributors required by the Open Database License (ODbL) is shown visibly next to the map.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the website visitor spends on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. In this context, Google acts purely as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR and will not use the data collected in this way for its own purposes. The tool is used on the basis of a data processing agreement (DPA) with Google. The data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings against abusive automated spying and against SPAM. The company holds a certification under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. You can obtain further information on this from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Online booking via Cal.com
The booking calendar on the contact page is provided by Cal.com, Inc., USA. It only loads if you have consented to the “Preferences” category or actively clicked to load it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). With this consent, we preload the calendar in the background as soon as you move to a link to the contact page, so it appears without delay. Your IP address is transmitted to Cal.com in the process; when you book, Cal.com also processes your name, email address and the chosen appointment. A transfer to the USA is possible. We have a data processing agreement with Cal.com.
The WhatsApp button is a plain link. Only when you click it is WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) opened and your message transmitted via WhatsApp. WhatsApp's privacy policy then applies; data may be transferred to the USA.
Fonts
Fonts are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts servers is made when you load a page.
